22 Dec Current Snow Conditions in Yuzawa – December 23rd

We’re still waiting for our first really big snowfall of the season here in Yuzawa. We have a few options for skiing with GALA, Kagura, Tashiro, Naeba and Okutadami all open in some form or another. We had a bit of snow up high yesterday which was a welcome refresh for the slopes, and hopefully temperatures are on the way down with snow on the forecast for this weekend. All the lower resort are on standby so as soon as there is enough snow, it will be all systems go.

It is a national holiday for the Emperor’s Birthday today so it might be a bit busier on the slopes than an average weekday.
