09 Nov Happy My Birthday Campaign in Echigo Yuzawa Onsen

Every year their is a special offer for visitors who celebrate their birthday while in Yuzawa during winter. The campaign runs from December 17th 2016 to April 30th 2017 for this coming winter season. If you are lucky enough to be in Yuzawa on your birthday during these dates you can pick up a whole bunch of freebies.

It is only available on the actual day of your birthday. You’ll need to head to the Echigo Yuzawa Onsen Tourism Association/Snow Country Tourism Information Center just outside the West Exit of Echigo-Yuzawa Station, and show them some form of photo ID (i.e. driving license or passport). Then prepare to reap in the goodies.

8 resorts are offering free lift tickets to the birthday boy or girl – Yuzawa Nakazato, Yuzawa Park, Iwappara, NASPA Ski Garden, Ipponsugi, Yuzawa Kogen, GALA Yuzawa, and Kandatsu Kogen.

There are 10 participating restaurants offering free beers, free cocktails, free dishes, or free ice cream.

There are 16 accommodations offering various goodies to guests who take part in the campaign, and there are also a couple of shops and onsen offering free drinks, discounts, or other freebies.

That should make for a nice bonus on your birthday in Yuzawa! Enjoy!
