01 Feb Night Ski Lessons

Only in Yuzawa for a short time? Want to make the most of your time on the snow? Head out for some night skiing and get some extra hours on the slopes. We are happy to teach under floodlights and it is a great time for a lesson.

We were up in Iwappara last night and enjoyed amazing conditions for the lessons. It was almost deserted so we almost had the slopes to ourselves. The cold nighttime temperatures meant that the snow was in perfect condition. The views from the top over Yuzawa were stunning. A night ski ticket at Iwappara was 1,500 yen for 5pm – 8pm. With a few hours of ski and snowboarding instruction under their belts, our happy customers headed back to their ryokan for a delicious Japanese dinner and a soak in the onsen. A whole full day on the slopes to enjoy their new skills awaits them this morning.
