Kagura closed it lifts for the season on Sunday afternoon which means that our Winter Season 2015/2016 is finally finished. We’ve been open for lessons from November 21st until May 22nd which is a long season considering the snow did not fall in its usual quantities this winter. We’ve skied and snowboarded in resorts all over Snow Country and have had a super-fun season.
A big thank you to our amazing team of instructors, our awesome clients/friends from all over the globe, both old and new, and everyone involved in the industry around here that make it possible for us to do the things that we love.
We are looking forward to Winter Season 2016/2017 and hope that the snow returns to its deep, fluffy best. If you are planning your winter snow trip to Yuzawa or anywhere in Snow Country for skiing, snowboarding, or snow play and need help with anything, feel free to drop us a line. We have a long, hot summer of hiking, summer skiing on snow mat, and the Fuji Rock Festival ahead of us but will be counting the days until the snow falls again and Kagura Ski Resort opens in late December 2016.
