07 Oct Yuzawa Area Resort Opening Dates for Winter 2020 / 2021

The summer temperatures have fallen away quickly in the mountains here and it is feeling decidedly autumnal. The changing of the leaves season is about to start and there are several great hikes, rides, ropeways, and lake cruises to check that out if you are keen….

The resorts are releasing their early bird season pass offers, and some have started the offers for day passes too. Along with those come the (planned) opening dates. We don’t have them all yet but here is what we have at the moment, and we will try to update the rest when they come out.

So now it is fingers crossed for a bumper snow year and we hope everywhere can open on schedule.

It seems like there will be some good shinkansen discounts with the half price Joetsu Bullet train tickets, and also with the Go To Travel campaign. The countdown has begun, so start exercising so you can hit the ground sliding this winter. We hope to see you on the slopes!
