Have you ever found yourself looking at snow photos and wondering why people always look so happy? Could it be the snow? Possibly the views? Maybe it’s just escaping our phones, all the noise, the city, and finally being let loose into nature?

For us as instructors, time on the mountain makes life feel simple again. No rushing, no more noise. Just snow, sky, and the sound of boards and skis carving (okay, and sometimes J-pop songs blasting from the lift).

This isn’t just work for us at Snow Country Instructors. It’s the place we feel free. It’s the place that we can slow down, recharge and remind ourselves why we love what we do. But more than anything, it’s the feeling. When your thoughts finally go quiet. That first turn in fresh powder. The way strangers turn into teammates and friends.

We do everything to make our guests smile, by calming the nerves, celebrating the small wins, and sharing every step of the ride.

Because when you smile out there, we smile too.
